Asa Jay Incorporated comes to your home to help you take control of your computer. Our focus is on making your computer work the way it should. We provide a personal, professional service where you can ask questions and get answers. Call us, to help you solve your computer problems.

What we do:

    • How we do it:

  • You call us at (509)998-4547 or email us to make an appointment for service.
  • We come to your home and -you- show us what is wrong.
  • We have you fill out a questionnaire giving us information about you and your computer system.
  • Our service person will explain what they believe is wrong and how they intend to fix it.
  • Our service person will attempt repairs and help you understand what they are doing.
  • If repairs are successful, you will be given a detailed billing.
  • If repairs are not successful in a timely manner, we may ask to take your system to our offices to finish.

    What it Costs:

  • $60.00 Initial Appointment - Minimum service fee (covers up to one hour)
  • $50.00 Per Hour, after the first hour. (billed in 1/2 hour increments)
  • $5.00 Malware Lookup fee** (per instance)
  • Discounts for Seniors, Military and students.

    • A Special Note, about Malware:

    Malware is a term referring to "MALicous softWARE". This can come in the form of Viruses, Ad-ware and Spyware. Without going into vast detail, these are programs designed to either deny -you- the use of your computer, or to -use- your computer for other illegal purposes. In most cases, these types of programs render your computer almost useless to you, the consumer. In some cases, the malicious software has been built to circumvent your normal virus and spybot scanning software. -AND- in many cases, these malicious pieces of software re-install themselves, even after a good cleaning using a known good tool, such as Norton Antivirus.

    In order to completely remove malicious software, sometime a detailed inspection of the users system is necessary. Special information may need to be downloaded from an Antivirus provider, and used to inspect the system, make special changes, and prevent malicious software from re-installing itself. In most cases where a consumer had a computer fixed by a chain store, only to find the virus back on within a day of getting the computer back, the chain store did -not- perform a thorough system inspection and cleansing.

    Most Antivirus software works very well at helping prevent initial infections. However, all can fall short of completely cleaning a system when infected with an especially nasty virus. This is where we come in and help repair your computer as much as possible.

    * Note: Removal of Viruses, Ad-ware and Spyware can be difficult and time consuming. In some cases it may be necessary to remove your computer to our offices in order to completely clean your system.

    ** Applies to malicious viruses, spyware, trojans and other malware that is difficult to remove. Per instance refers to each separate malware identification that is researched.
